Ranco Rocket 5 HP AC and Refrigeration Compressor Hard Start Kit RSPP5

The heavy duty Ranco Rocket RSPP5 Compressor Hard Start Kit gives condensing air conditioning and refrigeration compressors a power boost and maximum torque up to 300% at startup, increasing efficiency and preventing stuck compressors. Additional applications include ductless mini-splits; older, hard-to-start compressors; areas with low power supply quality; and low-voltage conditions. Because a compressor requires four to 10 times more power at startup than during normal operation—and might start up more than 6,000 times during high demand season— so the kit significantly reduces energy consumption and extends compressor life. It has an electrical rating of ½ to 5 HP and 115 to 288V. The CUL/UL E95218- and RU E510562-rated RSPP5 Compressor Hard Start Kit includes a solid state relay and combination relays and start capacitor and features a 1 year warranty.
